Eddy current testing (ET) is a non-destructive testing method used to inspect conductive materials for defects, cracks and variations in material properties through high or low frequency applications.
Ultrasonic testing (UT) is used within the aviation industry to verify the thickness of a material within areas that may have damages such as corrosion, gouges or material loss due to blending.
Magnetic particle testing (MT) is a non-destructive testing method used to detect surface and sub-surface flaws in ferromagnetic materials through electrical current. The method is used across many parts of this industry, especially when determining if a component is fit-for-service.
Liquid penetrant inspection (PT) is primarily used for non-ferrous parts. Most often used to inspect for defects open to the surface through capillary action with fluorescent dye.
